Accomplished multidisciplinary marine professional with a passion for boating. Possessing an aptitude for analyzing safe practices, usability and functional requirements under the ABYC and CFR standards. Thorough knowledge in systems and overall operations of vessels for the survey process.
I have spent my life on the waters of the Puget Sound with much of my career working in various sectors of the marine, and marine-related industries. My career as a product designer has given me experience designing fiberglass components for small craft such as RIBS, as well as applied form and function for other water-related products on the market today.
I have owned and operated fiberglass and wooden boats, as well as restored wood boats. This personal experience has provided me an appreciation and understanding of the essence of boat building. On-the-water experience also includes sailing with family and friends the inland waterways of the Pacific Northwest, as well as remote parts of the world.
“INSPECT WHAT YOU EXPECT” has always been the code in which I operate both business and personal life. This is how I approach each and every survey for my clients. As a surveyor, I work directly for the person who hires me, first and foremost.
